Check the box 'Additional Command Line Arguments' 5. Put in: -high -useallavaliblecores (don't change) 6.

Close the tab and you're done! You might be experiencing a really not HD gameplay you can change your resolution to your desired amount to make it a little more HD.

Also, I would recommend putting 'Textures' on medium or higher, you'll be able to see enemy's better. Yes, I also have a Mac, and I get around 80 FPS in-game. Which graphics card you have?

While I agree Sony budging on cross-play is unlikely. This specific example isn't even about cross-play in the end, which is why I don't think it's remotely comparable to Rocket League or Minecraft. We're all pissed off because at some point we linked our PSN account which in turn locked us from ever moving somewhere else without us being aware of that. I don't care about cross-play. In fact I'm not that bothered about keeping progression on PS4, I'd happily unlink if that actually did something. I just want to be able to get the fuck out of their isolated system and be able to use my account elsewhere.

Frankly it's insane that we can't do that, Sony shouldn't be allowed to lock our PC purchases into their ioslated system. Ya, but the thread title specifically mentions cross play and again another thread exists on the other topic.

So it makes sense to talk about cross play here and the account issue in the other one. Regardless, most of the stuff in my post still applies to the account issue since it falls along similar lines of pointing out how people that this affects are in the extreme minority. That doesn't make it right; it just makes it unlikely to be fixed or changed since this is a problem that affected Xbox owners for awhile now and nothing has come out of it. I feel like you underestimate the amount of people who own a PS4 and Switch. The Xbox and PS4 player cross-over was always going to be small, they occupy the same space, an home console sat by the TV. Not many people would own both and even less would probably want to play on both. Switch and PS4 though?

PS4 is the biggest selling home console, and the Switch is is a portable console that has been hugely successful since launch. I really don't think people who own both is 'small', they both offer different ways to play. Regardless your attitude is defeatist anyway. Nothing will get done if everyone throws up their towel and goes 'Well, it sucks but it's not going to change'. I feel like you underestimate the amount of people who own a PS4 and Switch. This view gets jaded here because we're enthusiasts but in reality, multi console ownership and that includes the Switch isn't that common and you have to factor in that the number of people who play Fortnite will be a subset of that minority and then the number of people who actually will find this problematic is a subset of that. It really dwindles down. I'd have to imagine many people who are going to play Fortnite on the Switch will just dock the system if they want to play it on TV. It's not defeatist at all; it's being realistic. The problem is people want to make it out that Fortnite is this huge thing that is going to break Sony but they need to set expectations in check so that they don't give up when they realize it's not the killer blow that they expect it.

Having a realistic expectation means you're less likely to give up when you realize things aren't turning out to be the grand thing you expected it to. What needs to happen is continued push and growth on that not everyone gets excited for a couple days and then gives up because nothing happened right away. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon and it's not going to happen this generation most likely. So have that expectation in check so that you know that you're likely pushing for something that happens years from now. It affects everyone who owns a PS4 and might want to play this game with people who don't own a PS4 or would rather play it on other hardware.

And vice versa. Ergo, I can now play with my buddies who visit my house several times a week, because our three Xboxes just became three Xboxes and two Switch systems - nobody has to sit out like before. At the same time, I can't play with my nephew, whom I love gaming with, because he owns PS4, and I own Xboxes and Switch. Kind of a bummer. You can harp on how that makes me an extreme minority all you want (based on.

Not much, as though it's rare for people to have IRL friends who aren't playing the exact same consoles as you are), but it doesn't change the fact that that's a feature of the game on every other platform - the ability to just play with your friends if you want them to - and not on PS4. And that's something we should be pressing Sony about. I'm not underestimating it at all.

So have that expectation in check so that you know that you're likely pushing for something that happens years from now. I'm all for being realistic, that's my go-to. However, I don't think being realistic is an excuse for just giving up. Especially when you're directly being affected by it, ie not being able to use my account with time and money invested on the PC version with the Switch because I dared try the PS4 version one or two times. The outcome potentially not happening is also not really a good reason to give up either. I've accepted nothing might change, and my response in that case is I don't play Fortnite on Switch or PS4, and I don't ever link any third party accounts to my PSN ever again.

(Which I'm sure is not what Sony wanted with this stupidity) Furthermore, I don't agree at all with your idea that the people with PS4 and Switches is ResetEra enthusiasts only. But I'm just going to agree to disagree on that because I really can't be bothered arguing. Fortnite Confirmed For Macbook Air Download

There are roughly what, 78 million PS4 systems sold and 16 million Switch systems? In an absolute best case scenario if every Switch owner had a PS4, that's 20% cross over of the PS4 install base, or 1 in 5. We know that's not the case.

Fortnite Confirmed For Mac Free

Even saying half of them have PS4 systems would be awfully generous and that would only be 10% of the PS4 user base. Then how many of those are Fortnite players? Even in a very generous scenario, the numbers don't add up to being as significant as you're claiming. I think you're grossly over estimating the cross over of the number of people who have $500 to $600 worth of gaming hardware.
